We’re probably all born with a sense of curiosity.  Exploring for me is just taking that curiosity and fulfilling it.

I started this website 20 years ago –  it was just a place to document my thoughts, words and photos from exploring.   I call it exploring other people will call it various other names.

Wikipedia have a nice summary of what it really entails – ‘The examination of the normally unseen or off-limits parts of human civilisation’

Exploring has changed over the years.  What was a closed community with set protocols it has been blown apart with the introduction of social media, youtube etc.  It’s not to say that it’s all bad its just that many people do it for the glory and likes now, it was never about that for me and still isn’t. 

I would say this site now serves as little more than my exploring archives as I simply don’t have the time and motivation to get out there anymore.
