ICI’s Agricultural Division Offices – commonly known as ADO and then Billingham House. A seven story complex overlooking the ICI chemical plant on the otherside of the road. Billingham house had rather rare paternosters lifts. The building closed in 1992 and has since been heavily stripped and was due for demolition by the end of last year but funds ran short.

No permission, it’s not exactly difficult..

I work at Belasis Hall Technology Park which is not far from Billingham House…. it’s still there today, rotting since the last 19 years.

The council is supposed to be demolishing it this summer (2011)… but because of their constant negotiation with Python Properties (a poorly organised firm who want to make the building useful again), I doubt it will ever be demolished!

Nice photos taken at night-time! I suspect you got permission to have a look inside? I would have liked to have a look inside myself, but I think they’ve stopped allowing tours there.
