Bristol United Maltings factory is somewhat an eyesore of a building next to the SS Great Britain. Not a lot of history seems to be available for this building but I believe it’s part of the old Albion Ship yard which was used by Charles Hill & Sons and was part of the Bristol ship building heritage. Later in life it’s been used as a malting’s, a wire factory and seemingly a garage workshop in its last few operational years.
The place now resembles something of a tip.
