  It’s between Penshaw Hill of Lambton worm fame and Tunstall Hill which has two peaks called ‘Maiden Paps’ Maiden coming from ‘May’ for great or powerful and ‘Dun’ for a fort or strong place. There are prehistoric remains at all of them.
